Government Misleads Public Says Pan Trinbago
Trinidad - On Thursday, July 5, 2007, we saw a three quarter page advertisement in the news papers saying that the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Pan Trinbago and the Pan in Schools Coordinating Council, will host the 14 Biennial National Junior Steel Pan Festival. The ad went on to give dates and time and categories and place for meeting with interested participants etc.Pan Trinbago would like to place on record, its objection to its name and logo being used by any agency, be it Governmental or Private to mislead the public and the Steel Pan fraternity in any way. This organization never collaborated with the Ministry of Education or any of its agents to host a Junior Steel Pan festival anytime in 2007.
